Rock the Bells 2012 Lineup Announced

In big news on Tuesday, the latest lineup for the Rock the Bells 2012 music festival was announced.  This annual hip hop concert features some of the biggest names in the genre, and this year's event should be no different.  Anyone who grabs tickets to this show is going to enjoy a lot of great hip hop music over the course of several days.

Among those included in the Rock the Bells 2012 lineup will be a few big reunions from the past.  One is the legendary Hit Squad, which consists of EPMD, Keith Murray, K-Solo, and Redman.  Longtime rap fans probably know of their group collab joint, "Head Banger."  Also reuniting for this 2012 festival will be Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.  Just a few of their classics hits have included "1st of the Month" and "Crossroads."

Several of my all time favorite rap stars are also on the bill this year.  I already mentioned Redman, who I've been a fan of ever since "Whut? Thee Album."  Also appearing will be Nas, my all-time favorite rap star, as well as Ice Cube.  His gangsta music that I heard back in the day on "Death Certificate" was classic stuff, and he'll likely be performing some of his big hits from that album and others.

Who else will be there?  Lupe Fiasco and Kid Cudi.  Method Man will get on stage with Redman to do the "Blackout" album songs.  Also, several up and coming names, such as Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, J. Cole, and more will perform.  It's hard to argue against the talent that they're putting on stage this year.

I've seen a few fans complaining that they need this group or that group on the lineup, but when it comes down to it, either you love the music and want to see some of this talent, or don't!

So are you going to the Rock the Bells 2012 shows in CA, NJ, or Miami?  Let me know in the comments!
